It all began when my wife expressed her longing for
love-themed music in a world where rap often
demeaned and objectified women.
Moved by her words, I decided to channel my feelings
into a heartfelt spoken word piece dedicated to her.
This very piece became an integral part
of my groom’s speech on our wedding day in July 2018,
titled ‘Baby,’ and was performed in front of our loved ones.
During a memorable holiday in Thailand,
I surprised my wife with a rap song that I had penned,
memorized, and performed acapella just for her.
What made this moment even more special was that the
acapella freestyle video was shot immediately after a grueling
500-meter climb up a mountain on Ko Wua Talap Island.
The journey of surprises continued as I
secretly recorded a grime verse in my car
while parked in an Asda carpark,
adding yet another layer to the
collection of songs dedicated to my wife.
For Valentine’s Day in 2019, I went all out once again.
I booked studio time and recorded not one
but two hip hop songs exclusively for my wife.
To make it even more personal,
I simultaneously filmed the music videos,
capturing the raw essence of the recording process.
These songs included the heartfelt piece
from our mountaintop adventure in Thailand
and a second brand-new composition.
These music videos are a testament to the
love, commitment, and surprises I’ve shared
with my wife throughout our journey together.
They represent a genuine effort
to bring love back into music
and to honor the incredible woman
who means the world to me.

Recorded less than a month after Savannah’s birth,

the birth and name of our precious daughter.
